Happy Halloween to all, and to all a good night...oh wait, that is Christmas, never mind. So, wow. Halloween. Becca and I made delicious Halloween sugar cookies and frosted them orange. I took a plate to my friend Brad and I ate a lot of them too. They were really yummy. I then took some time to get ready for the Halloween carnival that Becca and I had planned on going to. I was a mad scientist. To get the right look I crimped all of my hair with a crimper from the late 80's or early 90's (I don't know when it's from...I think it is Jana's). Anyway, I then ratted my hair and sprayed it to perfection. It was HUGE. I think I probably killed about 1/3 of my brain cells with the fumes from the hairspray...which is really to bad, seeing as how I'm a college student and really could use all the brain cells I can come up with. :) Here is a picture of the wonderful outfit.

Becca dressed up as a mechanic in her sweet, perfectly fitted coveralls. She looked pretty good. Me on the other hand, scary. That is kinda what I was going for though, so I was happy. The loss of brain cells made me pretty loopy, so I fit the mad/crazed scientist part quite well if I do say so myself.

Kinda creepy, I know. It only happens once a year though, so hopefully you won't judge me too harshly. After we were all dressed up we went to the Halloween carnival that is put on by the different associations and societies at BYU-I. This is how I felt about the carnival:

Just joking, it wasn't that bad, it was just a little boring. We had fun though. The funnest part of the evening was getting in our costumes and taking pictures. The picture above I edited for my own amusement. I kinda like it though. Dad...you might recognize those goggles. :)
Anyway, so it was fun, my friends all loved my hair, so I guess it was worth the loss of brain cells. None of the pictures really do it justice. It felt it was going to take over my head. I'm all back to normal now, but I'm really thinking it's a shame that I lost so many brain cells. What is gone is gone and I will have to live without them. Somehow I will get by.
Until next time...
