Okay, so things have been kinda crazy lately, but here is an update on my life in the last um...while. :) I finished up my second year at BYU-I with success! It was crazy, but I'm glad I made it through okay...I seem to stress out a lot more than needed on most occasions. I was sad to leave friends, but I was sooo ready to be done. I was needing a break desperately. Annie called me in the middle of finals week to tell me that Dr. Ray (a psychologist specializing in neurofeedback) was looking for someone to help him for the summer. He needed to know pretty soon whether or not I was interested, so I decided to go down and interview...after finals of course. I went down for an interview and things went well, so I decided to take the job. I came back home for a little while to get everthing ready and spend some time with the parentals before I moved away.
Renee's birthday was April 26th, and she came and spent the weekend with us. It was so much fun to have her and I loved being able to see her again. Long distance relationships are rough eh? :) Even for best friendishes. I took Renee around Blackfoot to show her the sights (all three of them) and then we went to Rupes for lunch. It was a fun weekend. I have missed her a bunch. I took Renee back to Rexburg on Sunday night and after a tearful goodbye (on my part...Renee doesn't cry in front of people) I headed home.
I moved to Provo, Utah on April 27th. It is hard to be away, but I love it here. I love my roomies and my ward and all my neighbors...I have had more of a social life in the last couple of weeks than I did all last semester. :) And I am totally serious. I am working with Dr. Ray (in neurofeedback) and I am also working part-time for Worldmark by Wyndham...a nontraditional timeshare company. All I do is recruit people to go to the tours. :) Harder than it sounds though... All in all things are going well. I am staying busy, but I am having fun too.
I went on a date yesterday with my new friend Travis. We went to South Fork (up Provo Canyon) and put on some nifty waders and caught bugs in the stream. Random, but tons of fun. I didn't know how many creepy crawly things could be found in such a little stream. There were little kids gathered around us looking at our bugs too. It was cute. They were asking so many questions and all Travis and I could do was laugh, because we couldn't answer hardly any of them. We looked a lot more official than we were. :)
So there is an update, I will try to be better about blogging this summer.
Until next time...
