Life is Good

Mmmm K. I have some updating to do. So the end of May Renee and I went to the Gogol Bordello concert in Murray. Gogol Bordello is a gypsy punk band from Ukraine. They are pretty crazy, but it was a super fun concert. Thankfully we were in the back against a rail and not in the mosh pit. :) I don't like mosh pits...not one bit. Here is the link to listen to their best song:

...and here are some pictures:

The band...
Here is a better picture so you can get more of a feel for their sweetness.

Renee, Sarah, Meredith (Sarah's friend), and me

We had a ton of fun. It was great to see Renee and Sarah because I hadn't seen either of them in a while.

Keshia came to visit me in Provo before she went to be an EFY counselor in Salt Lake. She was only here for a day, but it was fun to spend time with her. She came to church with me and was able to meet a bunch of my friends so that was fun too.

Here are some other things that have been going on as of late...

The Strawberry Days rodeo in Pleasant Grove...there was a huge group from my ward that all went together. It was fun, but it rained on us and got pretty chilly.

Carolyn, me, and McKell

That is Mike in the corner :)
I love my roommates!

Me, McKell, and Andrew...we were a little wet.

Boating on Mona Reservoir with McKell's uncle...it was still cold...but we went out anyway. It was fun to get out even though I might have had the first stages of hypothermia. :)

Andrew and McKell tubing.

The pretty sunshine.

After boating we went to McKell's house in Santaquin and made a fire. We ate some dinner and roasted marshmallows. We didn't get back until pretty late, but we had a great time.

Cade's baseball game...my friend Dan and I went to Cade's game on Tuesday night. He (Cade) is great. It was fun to be there. I love being close enough to go to my nephews' games and able to just go and hang out with Annie and her family.

Me and Dan (He is my new friend...I met him through my cousin Joseph. We actually met briefly over a year ago, but I met him again when I came to Provo.)

Okay. There is my update. My summer is going most excellent. I am loving Provo and work is going pretty well too. Life is good. I am happy.

Until next time...
