As of Late

My Dylan boy is growing up so fast. He will be four months old on the 25th. The poor kid is wasting away...he's only 19 pounds. :) I am joking about the wasting away part, but I am very much telling the truth when I say he is 19 pounds. I know what you are thinking. "Yikes!" I agree. My back does too. But, he's absolutely adorable and I love his chubby cheeks, so I guess I can't complain. He is doing well and is a happy baby. He is getting easier to entertain, so that is nice.

Here are a few updated pictures-

We were the angry birds for Halloween and Dylan was the pig.
This is my favorite outfit that he wears right now. Except, he looks so old in it!
He is getting to be pretty smiley these days. Harrison wasn't a fan of the overalls, but I think they are cute.
I have decided that I need to keep myself busy with other things too. I have been obsessed with Pinterest lately. I love all the easy craft ideas on there, so I have decided that I need to be crafty again. I love it. It's amazing how I didn't realize how much I missed crafting until I took it up again. Just looking at my scrapbook paper makes me happy. So here are a few things I have tried out-

Cookie tray magnet board. Add scrapbook paper with double sided tape (mod podge does not work). I put magnets on the back of cute buttons and wha-la! I thought it turned out pretty cute. This one was for Harrison's cousin for her bridal shower.
Newsprint fingernails. These are pretty sweet I must say, but they lasted a total of two days. How does one go about being a mom and having cute nails? It's a mystery to me. Between dishes, car seats, laundry, cooking, etc. they were ruined. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
Hair clips. These are so much fun to make! I learned how to do these at a Relief Society activity and now I love making them. I bought a bunch of fabric and now this is my go to activity when I need a break.
Well, Dylan is getting upset because I am not paying enough attention to him, so I must go.

Until next time...

Look at that sweet boy! I love overalls and just got TJ his first pair! I am loving your craftiness, I think we should get together and have a craft day.
