Carlotta the Bull Rider

So, I have become fairly adventurous as a college student-especially this last weekend. I went to extravadance with my friend Jordan (date #2) and we went out for Thai food afterwards. The food was good, but it didn't settle so well. :) After I got home from that date, Micah called to let me know what time he was picking me up for the rodeo on Saturday. He asked me what I was up to (I was going to watch a movie with Keshia) so I invited him to come. Micah is my roommate's boyfriend's roommate, and we have hung out a few times, so we are getting to be pretty good friends. Anyway, so he came over and brought his cousin with him and the four of us watched The Emperor's New Groove. Well, we kinda watched it; we talked through most of it. We had a lot of fun just chatting and playing the guitar.

Saturday, Micah picked me up at 11:45 (date #3), and we headed to the Idaho Falls Temple where I helped Katie, my roommate, babysit her boyfriend's niece and nephew while his sister went through the temple. After that we went to Johnny Corinos and had a late lunch. Then we headed to Pocatello for the rodeo. We changed at Micah's house, so I got to meet his dad, sister, brother-in-law, and one of his nieces. He is the youngest in his family and the only single one- just like me.

We headed off to the rodeo- which was absolutely amazing! We had front row seats and it was a blast. My batteries died to my camera like half way through, so we only have a few pictures, but it was tons of fun.

Wow, check me out! Bet y'all didn't know that I can ride a bull. :) ...and with a passenger too...

My personal favorite...

After the rodeo we went to Micah's aunt's house for a little marshmallow roasting. We just talked and sat around the fire. We left fairly late, and it takes about an hour and a half to get back to "the Burg," so we didn't end up getting back until around 1:30. On the way home we just talked about anything and everything. He is really easy to talk to and it was nice just to get to know each other better.

Anyhow, I have a ton to get done. I only have two weeks left of school, so it is down to all my final papers and such. I'll keep y'all updated...until next time.
