The past month or so...

So things have been pretty hectic the past few weeks and I have gotten behind on my blogging. The past month has flown by at an incredible rate. I feel like I just woke up and all of a sudden November was gone.

School has been really busy the last month with the end of the semester approaching. This week is finals, so it will be very busy and I perhaps will be temporarily crazy, but once Friday is done with, I have three solid weeks of bliss. I am going to Texas to visit my sister Jana and her beautiful little family, and I can't wait. I am soooooo excited. I will be there for a week and then I will drive back to Idaho with them because they are coming for Christmas! Yippee!

The week before Thanksgiving break was pretty hectic. I had three major tests and a paper all due within a few days of each other. Thursday night (a week before Thanksgiving) I went to the 12:30 showing of Twilight with my friend Renée and a few of her friends. The movie didn't end up starting until 12:50 because of technical difficulties. I didn't end up getting home until around 4 in the morning. The movie was okay...I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars. My main complaint is that I was disappointed with Edward. Renée had given me a vitamin water that ended up having caffeine in it, so I was completely wired on Friday. I got two hours of sleep between Thursday and Friday, but I didn't fall asleep in any of my classes, and I got everything all done and I escaped to my wonderful home. I was home for a few days-working on homework, sleeping, etc. Tuesday my parents and I headed for Utah to stay with Stace and Chris.

Wednesday was my cousin David's wedding, so I babysat cousins and went to the luncheon. It was fun to get to spend time with family and see cousins I haven't seen in a long time. I love my cousins! It was so much fun to get to see them again.

Here are a few of us that were able to snap a photo before I left.

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. The guys played the Wii...

While the women slaved away at the food and cleaning the bamboo for the centerpiece...

Aren't they lovely?

We had so much fun playing and cooking and just spending time together. I love being with my family. They are pretty much the coolest people I know. I am so grateful for them. I loved playing with my nieces and nephews over the break. They are so stinkin' cute! Here are a few pictures to prove it...

Brianna, me, and Kaylee

Me and Carter...what a stud.

Kaylee, Brianna, me, and Emily

Brianna was pretty excited about helping me play the guitar. She would turn around and back herself up into my lap so she could play with me. She is adorable. Kaylee helped me too, but that picture didn't turn out as good.

Me with my little sweet niece Sadie Claire...this was the first time I had seen her, so I was pretty excited. She's perfect.

I had so much fun, I was sad to leave, but we had to be back so I could get a few things done before I went back to school. Sunday was my birthday. I am done being a teenager forever. Crazy. 20. That used to sound old. Anyway, it was a fun day. I came back to Rexburg on Sunday night, and here I remain for five more crazy days...my final sprint to the end of my third semester.

Well, I have gone on for quite some time, so I will close my novel. :)

Until next time...
