School has been really busy the last month with the end of the semester approaching. This week is finals, so it will be very busy and I perhaps will be temporarily crazy, but once Friday is done with, I have three solid weeks of bliss. I am going to Texas to visit my sister Jana and her beautiful little family, and I can't wait. I am soooooo excited. I will be there for a week and then I will drive back to Idaho with them because they are coming for Christmas! Yippee!
The week before Thanksgiving break was pretty hectic. I had three major tests and a paper all due within a few days of each other. Thursday night (a week before Thanksgiving) I went to the 12:30 showing of Twilight with my friend Renée and a few of her friends. The movie didn't end up starting until 12:50 because of technical difficulties. I didn't end up getting home until around 4 in the morning. The movie was okay...I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars. My main complaint is that I was disappointed with Edward. Renée had given me a vitamin water that ended up having caffeine in it, so I was completely wired on Friday. I got two hours of sleep between Thursday and Friday, but I didn't fall asleep in any of my classes, and I got everything all done and I escaped to my wonderful home. I was home for a few days-working on homework, sleeping, etc. Tuesday my parents and I headed for Utah to stay with Stace and Chris.
Wednesday was my cousin David's wedding, so I babysat cousins and went to the luncheon. It was fun to get to spend time with family and see cousins I haven't seen in a long time. I love my cousins! It was so much fun to get to see them again.
L to R: Nancy, Paul, Shawnii, me, Katie, and Joseph
Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. The guys played the Wii...
We had so much fun playing and cooking and just spending time together. I love being with my family. They are pretty much the coolest people I know. I am so grateful for them. I loved playing with my nieces and nephews over the break. They are so stinkin' cute! Here are a few pictures to prove it...
I had so much fun, I was sad to leave, but we had to be back so I could get a few things done before I went back to school. Sunday was my birthday. I am done being a teenager forever. Crazy. 20. That used to sound old. Anyway, it was a fun day. I came back to Rexburg on Sunday night, and here I remain for five more crazy days...my final sprint to the end of my third semester.
Well, I have gone on for quite some time, so I will close my novel. :)
Until next time...
