Hello. I have officially been Rechtified! My name is Carlie Recht. (pronounced "wreckt")You may have formerly known me as Carlie Day, but I got married. :) So much has happened since May when I last updated. From family reunions to marriage to honey mooning to starting school...it's been a busy few months!-June was filled with wedding plans and family reunions. Mom and I spent lots of time planning everything from flowers to food to the cake. I was able to design my wedding announcement which was stressful, but lots of fun. We had our family reunion with my immediate family close to Zion's National Park and were able to spend a couple of days in the park. It was beautiful! We also went to Harrison's Bergman family reunion in Bear Lake. It was fun to get to meet his extended family and spend more time with his immediate family as well.
-July included more wedding plans, a bridal shower, and more wedding plans. July felt like it would last forever. Harrison and I spent lots of time talking to each other on the phone since he was in Montana. Dad took our engagement pictures, which I love. :)Please note that this first one was a total joke. We are not serious. Really. We aren't.
-August finally came. Last minute wedding plans...final touches...the making of the cake (it was a styrofoam mold...I hate wedding cake). Our wedding day was perfect. The weather was lovely, and everything ran smoothly (as far as I know...) I loved every second of it. I will have to post pics later, this post is getting a little long. Being sealed in the Rexburg temple was the highlight of our day. It is such a wonderful blessing to know that I can be with Harrison forever. I found Prince Charming, and I am one happy, happy princess!
-September-November: I decided this is getting way too long and taking me way too long to post. So, I am summing up the last few months quickly. Being married is awesome. It is so nice to have only one roommate. (And, bonus! He cleans up after himself!) :) I really am loving married life. School and work are going well, we are very busy, but life is good. I am so happy that there's only a few weeks left of the semester and then on to Christmas break! Hopefully it won't take me another seven months to post! :)Until next time...

Your reception was my dream reception! It really was absolutely beautiful and amazing and other than me not taking the perfect picture for the table and the wind blowing the frame over a couple of times, it was perfect! Although Charity is still sad that she didn't hug you that day! =)
