Just Me and Dad...and Indiana Jones

My mom went to Utah for a week to help her parents, so it was just me and Dad. I took over as the "woman of the house" and cooked and cleaned, etc. It was kinda fun, but we both really missed Mom. Me and Dad decided to watch the Indiana Jones movies while Mom was gone, because she doesn't thoroughly enjoy them like we do. :) So Saturday night, Sunday night, and Monday night were Indi nights complete with vanilla ice cream and oreos. It was fun to hang out with my dad. I love him and think he is pretty cool for an old man...he he he. Just joking. He really isn't that old.

We were pretty excited to get Mom back on Wednesday. Life just isn't as complete when she is gone. She is an amazing lady and I love her immensely. What a great person!

I went to a singles activity the night she came back, but I didn't stay for real long because I wanted to be with her. I know I am weird...ditch out on friends to hang out with my mom, but that is the way I like it. I played my guitar for her and we sat on my bed and talked. It was fun.

Well, another week has come and gone and I haven't taken more pictures, but I decided I better write anyway. So there is a little update. Until next time...
