What, I have a social life?

Well, time does fly by quickly. I have already been working for a week. This last week has been kinda crazy because I have been helping Michelle with her kids while she has been packing and moving and unpacking in her new house. Things are settling down I think now, so I should have more time to finally finish cleaning my room...I know, I know...I still haven't finished, but I am getting a lot closer...kind of.

Last night I went on a date with my friend Patrick. I was kinda surprised he called me, but I had a lot of fun. We went to I.F. and went bowling (I won with a 95...yahoo!...Patrick lost with a 48...ouch!) :) It was fun though, and I got to use my super sweet bowling shoes.

After bowling we went and played phaser tag. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is paintless paintball played like laser tag. Me and Patrick were on a team against Wes, Tausha, and her roommate, Jessica. Another guy was supposed to come, but he backed out, so we had a little threesome going. :) Me and Patrick slaughtered them a whopping 48 to 15. Pretty much Patrick is amazing at phaser tag. I was kinda worried about getting hurt, but I actually had a ton of fun.

After phaser tag, we went to Baskin Robins for ice cream. I got this really tasty Snickers ice cream. It was delightful. Over all it was a really fun date. It was fun to do something with Patrick again. I really haven't talked to him very much since he got back from his mission. He came and visited me once in Rexburg, but other than that we haven't done anything, so it was fun to hang out with him.

Today I made this wonderful chocolate eclair cake. Dang. I am amazing. :) It was actually pretty tasty and I was quite proud of myself. Uncle Merlin came over for dinner tonight. Aunt Suzie is in Utah with Grandma Lyman, so he was kinda lonely. After dinner we just sat and talked for a really long time. Uncle Merlin always has such great stories. It is pretty amazing he has lived through everything he has experienced. It was fun to chat with him. It has been a while.

After dinner and dessert, I went to Michael's house. He leaves for the MTC on Wednesday, so this was our last little shindig before he leaves. It is pretty weird to think that that was probably the last time all of us (me and the guys) will be together for almost five years, so maybe ever. Pretty crazy. We played PIG and ultimate frisbee. It was a lot of fun.

They are really fun guys. I mainly have hung out with Jared, Luke, Michael, and Zac, but I did a few things with Mitchell too. I am going to miss Michael, but I am really excited for him. He is going to Alabama on his mission, so that should be pretty sweet. Zac has his mission call to Mexico, Mexico City North, but he doesn't leave until August. It is crazy for me that my friends are leaving on missions. I am really happy for them though. I took my camera with me to Michael's because I wanted pictures with them, so here they are...
